Presentations 2010-2011
We funded 13 in-school presentations
during
the 2010-2011 school year in Columbus, Ohio,
USA public schools through the Columbus Jazz Arts Group that were attended by 5,000 students, primarily
elementary students.

On May 20,
2011, we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students
at Duxberry Park Elementary School in Columbus, Ohio.

On May 19,
2011, we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students
at Wellington Middle School in Columbus, Ohio.

On May 17, 2011,
we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at the Ohio School for the
Blind in Columbus, Ohio.

On May 16, 2011,
we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Ft. Hayes/AIMS Elementary
School in Coumbus, Ohio.

On May 16, 2011,
we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Etna Road Elementary
School in Whitehall, Ohio.

we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Rosemore Middle School in
Whitehall, Ohio.

On May 9, 2011,
we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Kae Ave Elementary School
in Whitehall, Ohio.

On May 9, 2011,
we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Avery Elementary School
in Hilliard, Ohio.

On April 29, 2011,
we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Slate Run Elementary School in
Worthington, Ohio.

On April 11, 2011,
we partnered and funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Beatty Park Elementary School
in the Columbus City Schools.

On April 5, 2011, we partnered and
funded a jazz presentation with the Jazz Arts Group for students at Highland Elementary School in the Columbus City
Schools.

On March 15, 2011, we partnered and funded our first jazz presentation with the Jazz
Arts Group at ScholARTS Preparatory
and Career Center for
Children. Bobby Floyd, Reggie Jackson and
Bryan Olsheski performed the presentation for grades 3 thru
6.

We did our first
Columbus, Ohio in-school presentation partnering and funding with the Columbus Blues Alliance at Eastmoor
Academy High School on Friday, January 28, 2011. Sean Carney (winner of the 2006 International Blues
Challenge), Sax legend Gene "King Saxe" Walker, Eric Blume and Steve Perakis did a Blues history presentation for
about 200 students.

On June 21 & 22, 2010, our Columbus
fund paid for Sean Carney, Steve Perakis and Eric Blume to teach 25 students as part of the Blues For A Cure
benefit for cancer research.
Sean's band performed with Li'l Charlie Baty
(of the Nightcats) and John Nemeth & his band at the main event at Northstar Golf Club. All the details are
at www.BluesForACure.com. They do great winter and summer events, all
for a great cause.
